Scenic Fabricator

Join Our Team
We’re looking for a talented and practical Scenic Fabricator to join our growing workshop team.
At Inspire Events & Productions we create eye-catching props, PR stunts, exhibition stands, live event installations and bespokeexperiences for some of the UK’s leading brands and agencies. From giant interactive props to exhibition features with integrated LED lighting, no two projects are the same.

Our warehouse is based in Stockport but events can take us all round the UK and Europe.

Full Time (Normally Monday–Friday, with overtime available for weekend and night work)

Working alongside our fabrication team, you’ll help bring ambitious ideas to life, taking projects from drawings through to finished builds ready for installation.
You’ll be involved in:
•Fabricating bespoke props, scenic elements and exhibition features.
•Working with timber, sheet materials, plastics, aluminium and composite materials.
•Building structures that incorporate LED lighting and interactive components.
•Reading technical drawings and interpreting design briefs.
•Preparing projects for installation and assisting with workshop testing.
•Working to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional build quality.
•Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.

We’re looking for someone with solid fabrication experience who enjoys variety and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
You’ll ideally have:
•3+ years’ experience in scenic fabrication, exhibition build, prop making, joinery or a related industry.
•Strong woodworking and general fabrication skills.
•Experience using workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
•The ability to read technical drawings and work with minimal supervision.
•A practical, problem-solving mindset.
•Great attention to detail and a positive attitude.
•The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
•Must have a Full UK driving license.

These aren’t essential but would be a real advantage:
•Experience integrating LED lighting into fabricated pieces.
•Basic electrical assembly or wiring knowledge.
•CNC, laser cutting or CAD experience.
•Metal fabrication or welding.
•Scenic finishing or paint techniques.
